Cooling Tower Water Treatment and Monitoring
Prochem helps commercial and industrial operators manage cooling tower water quality through treatment programmes designed around each site. We combine system assessments, water sampling, chemical dosing checks and reporting to help manage corrosion, scale and microbiological risks. Our team supports customers across New Zealand with ongoing servicing and technical advice.
A treatment programme for your site
We assess your cooling tower, water chemistry and existing treatment arrangements before recommending a programme. Prochem supplies formulated cooling water chemicals and reviews dosing and monitoring requirements for the system. Our service can include biocide and inhibitor dosing checks, equipment inspections and cleaning recommendations. Treatment decisions reflect the equipment, operating conditions and results from your own system.
Sampling and Legionella risk management
Water sampling and analysis help inform treatment decisions and identify changes that need attention. Legionella risk assessments, bacterial sampling and control plan reviews can form part of the programme. Prochem coordinates laboratory analysis through third-party laboratories and uses the results to guide site-specific advice. Sampling arrangements and control measures are agreed for your system and applicable requirements, with corrective actions and follow-up testing where needed.
Monitoring, reporting and follow-up
Ongoing site visits combine water analysis with checks of treatment performance and equipment condition. We provide service records, laboratory reports and practical recommendations so facilities teams can track results and plan maintenance. Documentation supports your building maintenance and compliance processes. Prochem can also assist with commissioning new water treatment systems and reviewing an existing programme when water quality or operational concerns arise.
